it feels like a pink floyd album

i really like the different chapters, you clearly had a story in mind, and did your best to represent it with sounds.

things are constantly moving and it keeps it fresh, the use of silence is well done.

The kick felt a bit too loud, it buried the other instrument, perhaps making it slightly less loud, it would keep the emphase and intensity but i would hear the other instruments better.

Other than that keep up!

Hello! its me.

Wow, what a step up from your previous.. uhh "test".

first of all, the percussions, lots of variety of sound, is coherent. it feels a bit off at some points, because it stop following the 4:4 at random moments. but in general its really good, percussion is your most recognisable strength, keep up

the melody at the begining is minimal, but the notes plays between your percussions, making some really satisfying rythm

you took the time of making some arpegios for the chord progression, really enhancing the quality of your work.

theres a rythm conflict with your melody and the percussion.

Im really happy to hear multiple instrument at different octaves, they complete eachother and breaks the monotonous melody curse your previous musics had.

this is by far a big step up.

note : keep up, you have a good base to work on.

Hello, its me.

I hope for you it was just a test.

I dont think I need to say where this melody is from. Its very slow paced and theres nothing adding details or movement to your music, its extremely monotonous.

The percussion is poorly designed since it doesnt add anything to the piece. Doesnt change at all, and has the exact same sound the whole time.

at the middle, i thought you were going to try for a beat drop or something, only to hear the exact same thing ive heard for the whole first half.

note : you barely even tried, cmon man, you gotta step up your game.

hello! thats me.... again

thats quite an improvement from what ive seen before, the percussion makes me think about this music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COWyKcN4aI8 (at the half)

choice of instruments are coherent, thats a good leap.

the risers didnt felt necessary since it doesnt change much after.

the "chord" progression is divided by 2 instruments that plays different notes at different times. it made it interesting.

the melody was hit again with the curse of staying within a very small range. so it felt really monotonous. perhaps you could have changed it after the riser, creating some kind of beat drop with more variations.

note : you have improved on progression, percussions seems to what you excels at the most

Hello! its me again

thats a good start, the percussion got a good foundation and the melody fills some of the empty spots, contributing to the percussions.

The instrument choice was poor, really decreasing the overal value of the music, but you said it was made on a phone, so you did with what you had, i wont beat u up for that.

it has an 8 bar melody that goes 2 times and then switch to a new melody, its way less monotonous than your previous music.

the choice of the notes felt poor, since its restrained to a very small range, which makes the thing feel monotonous.

i dont hear any note conflict this time, which is rly cool.

the ending is nice, i didnt expect that kind of sound (00:40) but still blended in with the style.

note:keep up thats an improvement

Hello!

The lead melody (the first instrument you hear) is quite hard to understand, i can't really figure out what is the melody and whats the base. The notes feels like its placed randomly, perhaps you wanted to simulate chaos?

as for the notes itself, its really monotonous, you could try to change things up by making a 8 bar melody instead of 4, and adding small variations between them, that could improve it a lot. You could also play with more range, its only playing within 2 octaves, which is fine if you wanted a minimalistic aproach.

at 00:27 , theres a new instrument, some kind of 8bit bass. it feels off, theres a note conflict with the first "base" melody at the begining.

note: you could try playing a bit more with silence, the lead melody doesnt need to always be playing, otherwise it has chances of burying the rest.

thats my honest review, i hope it could help you improve!

I am truly amazed. The mix was perfect, I can barely come up with anything that could be changed, you people mastered that one.

There is quite a lot of "reverby instrument" yet theres no issues with the amount of noise it adds. everything overlaps eachother perfectly, truly a huge amount of work in mixing. the progression of the music is almost perfect, the music is slow paced, but since there are quite a lot of variations it feels like its always changing.

Your kind of people is what makes me believe in my dream of composing music. Truly, you 3 should never give up, you all are onto something.

What i would give just to witness the project file.

The only thing you should change is making it downloadable because I want to hear that again lol.

note : I think the genre is chillstep if im correct, you could add that in your tags. I could be wrong.

Edit: thank you for giving me my selfish wish, i will have a good time analysing that :)

hey thank you so much! <3 we are happy that our music inspires you. it should also be downloadable now!

I like it, the percussion is ingaging and diverse yet coherent. The mixing is quite well done, its clear where the emphase is yet it doesnt bury the other instruments.

If you have a story behind that music id love to hear what went trough your mind when making it. I would be quite interested, if you want of course.

Other than that keep going, i like your work.

note : the progression chord in the begining sounds like the one in canon by pachelbel.

Hey, i love making music and video games. If you have any request just hit me up! I would love to make some custom soundtracks if the request isnt too hard :)
